We have been getting lots of calls and emails asking for updates on the family. Thank you for all of your patience as it has been pretty chaotic to say the least.
Sean is currently in a hard place, being strung in several directions. How he manages to stay so calm amazes me. One day at a time is what he continues to tell me.
Aylene is home and at peace. We truly appreciate all the thoughts, prayers, and visitors! Home Health has been a great help. Without them, we would not be able to have Aylene home. Thank you!!
Dave had a recheck this week and has decided he is no longer going to continue with the chemo. They removed the chemo bag and he is home with Aylene and Sean. He hasn't been feeling the best this week, as the chemo leaves, we should see some more energy return.
Talk about a rough week, Sean also spent some time with Grandma, Lorene. She has been having tests to see if she is good to have her back surgery. At this moment, we still are not sure, but prayers would be helpful!
The kids? They have definitely had one heck of a summer! We can not thank our family enough for all the support and love they have shown these past few months. It kills us to have to think what we would do without all the support. We won't go into all the details, except to say - We MISS THEM!!! We miss the fighting. We miss the whinning. We miss the tears. We miss the 'go clean your rooms'. We miss the hugs. We miss the 'can we go frog hunting?'. Most of all, we miss the smiles, the laughter, the thoughtfulness, the love they show us each and everyday. Kailee celebrated her 9th Birthday yesterday!
Again, we thank everyone for all the support, thoughts, and prayers.
